We purchased Zoom off the track in August 2003, as a 7yo, following a full and successful racing career. The years of training and bringing him through the grades have been both rewarding and challenging. To date his career has been very successful, with many wins and placings to his name.

Zoom is a stunning big horse, with eye catching paces, and a big, bold jump.  He does struggle at times in the dressage arena with a little performance anxiety, although these days we can over look this little vice as he is such a great reliable, and safe jumping horse.  We have almost parted with him a couple of times, but have not been able to go through with it.  Zoom is here to stay, to continue his training at higher level, and to be enjoyed!  In a few years time he will make a wonderful schoolmaster for our daughter Jayde.

It is with regret that we are offering Monte for sale again, this time at a reduced price in the hope of finding him a suitable home. 

I bred Monte, as a potential dressage mount, but at this stage my passion still lies in eventing, and while he has a huge amount of jumping ability, he is not the bravest pony in the world when the fences get bigger.  Monte would be best suited to a dressage/show home and low level eventing/jumping.  Monte has successfully competed at Prelim level eventing, in fact he placed 4th in the Qld Young Event Horse Titles in 2010, scoring 8’s from the judges in the dressage and jumping phases.  Monte has also been lightly shown (in between my eventing schedule) and he has bought home sashes from both the WB and Palomino rings, as 3yo Monte won Champion South Qld Working Performance Horse.  Monte is currently working at Elementary level dressage, with potential to go much higher, he’s had wins at Novice level with high percentages.  

Monte was a working stallion for 4 years, producing over 60% coloured foals (including a cremello colt this year) his progeny share his wonderful temperament and movement, some being started under saddle and doing very well.  Monte was gelded 12 months ago, (we have frozen semen available and can offer a few doses with the sale) This year he was lightly campaigned, as well as being a pleasure mount for our 10yo daughter, while he is very quiet for her, she just does not have enough leg to get him working properly in the dressage arena.  Monte is a ladies man and just loves a bit of fuss, he would be great for an experienced teenager or small lady.
